Questions

Why not just use the Hetzner console?

The console is the source of truth for what you run today. CloudTally adds time, explanation and alerts on top of it: cost history per server, numbered events that explain each change, a month-end forecast and budget alerts. It reads the same data through a read-only token.

What happens after the 21-day trial?

The organisation drops to Free: one project, one member, one budget and 62 days of history. Nothing is deleted and you are never locked out. Upgrade to Pro whenever you want the rest back.

What can a read-only token do?

Read your servers, volumes, IPs, snapshots and their prices. It cannot create, change or delete anything. The token is encrypted at rest and you can revoke it in the Hetzner console at any time.

Can I export everything and leave?

Yes. Costs, resources and recommendations export as CSV on every plan. Delete the organisation and the token and cost history go with it.

Where is my data hosted?

On Hetzner in Germany and Finland. CloudTally is a product of Agapios sp. z o.o., Warsaw, and a data processing agreement is available. Not affiliated with Hetzner.
